FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000- PUBLICATION SCHEME

(Core Classes plus optional Classes of Information)

 

WHAT IS THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT? 

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 extends the right to allow public access to all types of information held by public authorities.
The Act will not make available private and confidential information covered by the Data Protection Act 1998.

 

WHAT IS THE PUBLICATION SCHEME? 

The scheme lists classes of information which are available to the public and have been chosen to represent clearly what the Parish Council does.  

 

The Scheme will be available at Blythe Bridge Library and Parish Clerk's Office. All documents in the scheme can be viewed by prior appointment with the Clerk or hard copies made available.

 

WILL I HAVE TO PAY? 

A  schedule of printing and photocopying charges is applicable for most hard copies.  

 

IS THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE IN ALTERNATIVE FORMATS? 

If you require any information in an alternative format to that in which it is held, please ask.

This is information concerning changes to the electoral arrangements for parish, town and community councils.

It includes recommendations for the creation of new wards, the amendment of existing wards, proposals

for the names of new wards and alterations to the number of councillors to be elected to the council.

 

Information relating to the last Periodic Electoral Review of the council area.

 

Information relating to the latest boundary review of the council area.
