Doomsday Book
The Parish Council were fortunate in being able to purchase a copy of The Doomsday Book which is displayed in the new library for you to view.
Forsbrook is known in the Doomsday Book as Fotesbroc and is listed under the land of the King.
It reads, in translation, "land for one plough Swein held it".

Doorstep Sellers
This warning comes after a salesperson gained entry into an older resident's property under false pretences.
Recognised charity workers or official representatives follow a code of conduct, which requires them to explain the reason for calling at your door and to produce ID. You should always ask to see a person's ID at your door, asking them to state their business.

Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act 2005
In April 2006, new powers were given to a range of bodies, including parish and town councils, to help them tackle environmental quality including litter and dog fouling.
Environmental Wardens will patrol areas and issue Fixed Penalty Notices to anyone seen dropping litter or to any irresponsible dog owners who fail to clean up after their dogs. Fixed penalty tickets have already been issued to dog owners in Blythe Bridge and Forsbrook.
The Parish Council has funded two further dog fouling bins, one in Stallington Road and the other in the centre of Blythe Bridge to try to help.
Poop scoop bags are available free from Spar Shop in Forsbrook, Late Shop, Library, Police Station and Lloyds Newsagents in Blythe Bridge.

Alcohol FREE Zone Map
View a map of Forsbrook's Alcohol-FREE Zone.
You will be aware that the Parish Council has been seeking support from the District Council and Police to make Blythe Bridge and Forsbrook Alcohol Free Zones.
This has now been granted, giving the police the powers to confiscate and dispose of alcohol from anyone found drinking in open spaces and on the streets, irrespective of age.
